About the Section

ECREA Political Communication Section

The Political Communication Section of ECREA is one of seventeen thematic sections. Its goal is to promote and facilitate high-quality political communication research in Europe and beyond; to facilitate networking among political communication scholars in Europe and beyond; to facilitate and encourage comparative political communication research; to function as a resource and source of information for everyone interested in political communication research; and to encourage young scholars to get into the field of political communication research.

Pre-Conference Workshop for Early-Career Scholars

This year, the ECREA Political Communication Sections hosts a virtual workshop prior to the bi-annual conference. Thirteen participants from 10 countries will get the opportunity to discuss their work, together with four wonderful mentors. We are happy publish the Call for the Early Career Scholars Workshop in Political Communication titled “Advancing Concepts and Methods in Political Communication”.
